The Indic Cultural and Social Studies Seminar-cum-Workshops create collaborative spaces where scholars, researchers, practitioners, and students come together to explore ideas, share research, question established frameworks, and develop new approaches. INDIC SOCIAL STUDIES WORKSHOPS CUM SEMINARS
- Re-centre Indic knowledge by bringing Bharatiya concepts, categories, texts, and intellectual traditions into the study of Social Sciences and Humanities.
- Develop indigenous frameworks that enable researchers and learners to examine society, culture, polity, economy, governance, and civilization through Indic perspectives.
- Encourage original research that questions inherited assumptions and explores new theoretical, empirical, comparative, and practical approaches.
- Create collaborative spaces where scholars, practitioners, educators, and students can exchange ideas, share expertise, and build knowledge collectively.
- Strengthen civilizational inquiry by connecting textual traditions with lived experiences, contemporary challenges, and emerging research.
- Promote polycentric knowledge by recognising diverse regional, linguistic, disciplinary, and intellectual traditions within the Bharatiya civilizational experience.
- Build pathways for further exploration through courses, booklets, lectures, seminars, workshops, curriculum initiatives, and research collaborations.
- Contribute to the reconstruction of Social Studies through rigorous, contextual, and intellectually open Bharatiya frameworks and methodologies.
